The Benefits of Strength and Conditioning for Woman

For years, women have been encouraged to focus on cardio exercises like running and cycling, while the benefits of strength and conditioning have been overlooked. However, incorporating strength training into your fitness routine can have numerous benefits for your health and well-being. Not only can it help you get in shape, but it can also provide a much-needed break from the stresses of daily life on a molecular level I’ve seen this to be true, with managing Pre/Post menopause and Menstrual cycles. So if you’re looking for a way to improve your overall health and fitness, consider adding strength training to your workout routine.

The benefits of strength and conditioning exercises are not just for men. Women can also benefit greatly from incorporating these types of workouts into their fitness routine. As we age, we naturally lose muscle mass and strength, a process known as sarcopenia. However, by engaging in regular strength and conditioning exercises, women can slow down this process and maintain their physical abilities for longer. It’s important to note that muscle mass and strength typically peak around 30 to 35 years of age, and then decline slowly. However, after age 65, this decline can accelerate more rapidly for women. By prioritizing strength and conditioning, women can improve their overall health and quality of life as they age.
